In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Oct. 23 against Nicole Terese Borkowski of Jefferson on a charge of violation of a no contact order. She was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge. She was assessed restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees of $296.70 and court costs of $182.50. The amounts due were paid via an offset from restitution due her as the victim in another Greene County case.
Jeremy Dale Eberle of Jefferson was sentenced Nov. 4 to seven days in jail on a charge of violation of a no contact order. He received credit for time served in Guthrie County. A judgment was entered for $274.96 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $160.55 court costs.
Melynda Louise Weltha of Grand Junction was sentenced Oct. 26 to 10 days in jail after she pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, amended from domestic abuse assault. The jail time was suspended and she was placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months. Weltha was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge. Court costs were $245.45.
Fallon Caroline Heater of Perry was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge after she pleaded guilty Nov. 2 to an Iowa Department of Public Health violation. Court costs were $60.
Justin Venteicher of Jefferson was granted a deferred judgment after he pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was placed on informal probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year. He must pay a civil penalty of $105 and $55 court costs.
Lori Alise Palmer of Scranton was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge on a charge of criminal mischief- fifth degree. She must pay $85 victim restitution and $106.50 court costs.
Lawrence Shannon O’Neal of Grand Junction was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge after he pleaded guilty to a charge of operating without ignition interlock device. Court costs were $60.
Cases have been initiated in Greene County magistrate court as follows: Justin Michael Cosnotti of Jefferson, interference with official acts; Andrew Lee Jensen of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree and interference with official acts; and Angel Vaughan of Marshalltown, possession of drug paraphernalia.
